I've been blogging on my personal travel blog, globotreks.com, for over 4 years now. I share everything from my personal travel experiences to tips and how-to's on several destinations all around the world. I also write for various online publications.
I'm an adventure junkie and adrenaline seeker, so whenever I have the chance to do some adventurous activities, I'm in! I do everything from caving, sky diving, diving, bungee, hiking, climbing, and everything in between,
I'm a backpacker, so I travel on a modest budget. Usually I manage to travel to almost everywhere in the world with a budget of $40 or less per day – $50 per day in some cases, but not that often.
I've been on the road since October 2011. This journey has taken me to over 83 countries in 5 continents and still counting. When will I stop? I have no idea.
Since 2008, I've traveled several times to most Southeast Asian countries including Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and Singapore. I know how to make my way around these countries, their highlights, and how to travel cheaply.
Thailand is one of my favorite countries in the world. I've visited several times and been to most of the top destinations (and not so top) in the past 5 years. I've also lived in Chiang Mai since December 2013, which has served me well to get to know better this country as well as the culture.
I lived as an expat in Milan, Italy for over a year, and traveled to most of the country (especially the north), visiting cities and villages like Bologna, Venice, Rome, Cinque Terre, Verona, Parma, Piacenza, Florence, Rimini, Modena, and more.
I lived in Belize for 3 months and traveled the entire country extensively. I'm familiar with all the districts, their peculiarity, and the it spots to go to see the best of Belize. The country is rich in Maya culture and architecture; and it also excels in presenting the paradise like destinations most of us seek with the islands of Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so I know this small island pretty well. From luxury to backpackers, I know what to do in the island. From food, to culture, to history, and eco adventures; Puerto Rico will have many ways to amaze you.
