I'm a professional photographer with formal training who also makes money selling high resolutions prints (mainly travel) to consumers as well as clients.
I believe in being a "Yes" man/women, saying yes to all experiences presented. Some of my favorite adventures have been skydiving in New Zealand, swimming with hammerheads in the Galapagos Islands, hiking Machu Picchu, scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, bungy jumping in the Swiss Alps, white water rafting in Australia and canyoning in Colorado.
When I travel, I seek out the most low-cost yet high-value experiences possible, generally spending less than $50 per day depending on accommodation — usually a lot less.
I've traveled solo through numerous destinations, some of which include Western Europe, South America, French Polynesia, Canada and Australia.
Food & drink
I'm a professional food and drink enthusiast and writer — I've even interviewed Anthony Bourdain and Brad Farmerie — as well as a certified sommelier.
I've backpacked Western Europe three times, and done individual country trips to Germany (Hamburg, Leipzig, Berlin), Copenhagen, London, Italy (Tuscany, Cinque Terre), Greece (Athens, island hopping) and Switzerland (Gimmelwald, Interlachen).
I lived in Sydney, Australia, for a little less than a year. I've also road tripped from Melbourne to Kangaroo Island, camped on the Sapphire Coast, vacationed in Adelaide and more.
I travel to the Caribbean frequently, including Saint Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Cayman Islands, andThe Exumas (Bahamas).
I'm born and raised in New York, currently living in Brooklyn. Other destinations of expertise include Albuquerque, New Orleans, Southern California, Fort Lauderdale and Portland (Oregon).
I've 2-4 weeks each in the following destinations: Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Galapagos Islands. I've also traveled through Guatemala (Central America).
